Sustainability

For the sake of nature

The ecosystem forest is a finely woven network of effects in which each intervention has more than just one impact. We, therefore, attempt to act as sustainable as possible and carefully contemplate each step for the sake and future of our nature.

We are extremely proud that Weissenbach International is FSC® and PEFC™ certified.

By having the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certificate, we support sustainable forestry while combating illegal logging practices at the same time. FCS® has defined unified guiding principles for responsible forestry worldwide. We are onehundred percent dedicated to these principles in all our projects.

Companies certified according to the PEFC(Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) show dedication to the environment and act responsibly when handling the indispensible resource and work material wood. PEFC™ is holistic sustainability: An integrative concept, which intertwines ecological, social and economical aspects. On top of that, PEFC™ serves as a warrantor of a controlled production chain – independent, monitored, gaplessly traceable and sustainable.
